Use Resonant Egypt as general educational reading. Current permissions, safety instructions and the rights of people in a setting always take priority.
Editorial scope
Resonant Egypt publishes qualitative essays and notebook exercises about listening, distance and place. It is not an acoustic laboratory, official tourism authority, protected-area body, religious institution, legal adviser, recording archive, tour operator or booking service.
No access or condition guarantee
Photographs and essays do not guarantee current access, weather, traffic, wind, sea conditions, quiet, events or permission to record. Check current official information and responsible local guidance before visiting or making any recording.
Safety
Do not use an exercise to justify approaching water, entering traffic, climbing barriers, leaving a group, crossing into private or restricted space, remaining in severe weather or touching natural and historic features. Stop immediately when conditions or instructions require it.
Consent and responsible use
Public audibility does not remove a person’s interest in privacy and context. Do not record or publish identifiable voices, children, private activity, sacred practice, distress or sensitive locations without appropriate authority and informed consent. Respect a refusal without pressure.
Accuracy
The site avoids fabricated measurements, but interpretation and external information can change. A field exercise produces a time-specific observation, not a permanent acoustic description. Specialist research or local advice may be necessary for technical, legal or heritage questions.
Text and image rights
Editorial text and design are original unless stated otherwise. Photographs remain under the separate Creative Commons licences identified beside article images and on the sources page. One image licence does not automatically cover site text or design.
External links
External resources are supplied for attribution and further reading. Resonant Egypt does not control their availability, later content, privacy practices or current accuracy. A link does not imply endorsement or affiliation.
Changes
Pages may be corrected, expanded, reorganised or removed. Continuous availability is not promised. Material implementation changes should be reflected in the privacy and terms pages before release.
